Ever wanted to play cricket and learn about the game from the best? The WACA is giving kids the opportunity to do just that in the upcoming school holidays!
Cricket Clinic Details:
Clinic 1: 29,30 September & 1 October 2010 (Wed-Fri)
Clinic 2: Dates tbc
Age groups:
6 – 11 year age groups will be held on all three days from 9.30am – 12 noon
12 – 18 year age groups will be held on all three days from 1.00pm – 4.00pm
Cost:
Both clinics are $170 per participant.
The Warriors Fury School Holiday Cricket Clinics are for boys and girls aged six to 18 and will be held at the WACA Ground, see date below.
New Retravision Warriors Coach Mickey Arthur says the WACA School Holiday Cricket Clinics will be a great way to kick off the 2010-11 summer of cricket.
"A number of players from your Retravision Warriors and Western Fury will be there to teach kids all of the skills and pass on their knowledge of the game," Arthur said. "It is a fantastic way to build into the new season and learn from the state's best cricketers, while also having a lot of fun. I look forward to seeing the next crop of talented cricketers coming through at the clinics, and maybe even some future Warriors and Fury representatives."
The Warriors Fury School Holiday Cricket Clinics give kids the opportunity to receive specialised coaching from WACA Coaching Staff and Cricket Officers. The clinics have been designed to allocate 1 coach per 10 players, thus allowing each participant to receive comprehensive and informative direction from the Warriors/Fury Players and WACA Coaching Staff.
Participants also receive a WACA Show bag with Warriors and Fury merchandise including a T-shirt, cap and other promotional items. |
