Below are the Cricket Officers are employed by
the WACA. Each Cricket Officer is responsible for
a metropolitan district club zone and they are
employed to:
- Increase participation in Junior Community
Cricket
- Provide assistance to Junior and Senior
Community Clubs and Associations
- Enhance the
development of players through the education
of coaches & teacher training
- Promotion
of cricket programs through Primary schools
eg: in2CRICKET and Warrior/Fury Shields
- Identify and develop talented players
- Assist
Junior and Senior District Club Players and
Coaches reach there full potential
- Develop
a close working relationship with each district
club
- Assist the WACA Representative teams
and squads by utilizing specific skills and
cricket knowledge
- formally establish the 'District as the
hub' concept
