WA Country Cricketer of the Year Award

Terry 'Tuck' Waldron Medal

This award recognises the most outstanding cricketer in country WA, on an annual basis.

Terry Waldron is a former player who was:

  • an outstanding performer for the WA Country XI
  • selected in the Australian Country Cricket Championships "Team of the first 25 Years" in 2009
  • selected in the WA Country "Team of the Century" in 2007

Votes for the Waldron Medal are awarded in official competitions participated in by the Country XI each year eg ACCC, Sunday League.

The presentation is made at the winning player's local/Association wind-up/presentation function at the end of the season by Terry Waldron and/or the CCB Chairman (or his representative).
