Retravision Warriors Coaching Staff

Tom Moody
State Coach/Warriors Manager
Born: 2 October 1965

One of the most sought-after coaches in world cricket following his success with Sri Lanka, he returned to Perth in May 2007 to take on the role of Retravision Warriors Manager and Head Coach. In his first season at the helm he took the Warriors to the final of the KFC Big Bash and third place in the interstate four day competition, while blooding several youngsters in the team’s Ford Ranger Cup campaign. Following his retirement from WA cricket in 2001, he served as Director of Cricket at Worcestershire for four years before a two-year stint as Head Coach of Sri Lanka, whom he guided to the ICC World Cup final in 2007. He will be aiming for similar success with the Warriors in the near future.

Known for being one of the best fielders in world cricket during his playing days, he also undertook various coaching roles with the England Cricket Board and was appointed Head Coach of Sri Lanka before choosing to walk away from that post and move his family to Perth.
