The Women’s Grade competition has been running since 1930, Melville and Subiaco Marist have dominated the senior grades in recent years while South Perth have been the team to beat in the juniors.

The challenge is on for the other clubs to get their named engraved on the shields in 2009-10.

The 2009-10 home & away season starts on:

• Oct 24 - Under 15s & Under 17s
• Oct 25 - A & B Grade
• Nov 29 - Under 13s.
