In only its first year, the WACA Female Premier League
has been developed as a competition to enable the best
cricketers in WA to play in matches that are more intense
and played under National match conditions.
There are 2 divisions available: Emerging Players & Opens.
Emerging Players Tournament
4 teams of the best young cricketers from across the
state play a 3 day tournament during the first week
of the September school holidays.
Players are selected from the Rising Fury Squads, the
WA U17 Squad and targeted players from Club cricket in
order to create the 4 strongest junior teams in WA.
This year the tournament was played at Stevens Reserve,
Fremantle on September 29, 30 & the 1st of October.

Opens
2 teams will be formed and they will compete against
each other in preparation for the first round of the
WNCL competition.
Players are selected from the Fury, Fury Development,
WA U17 Squad and targeted players from Club cricket in
order to create the 2 strongest teams in WA.
This year the matches were played at:
- Belridge SHS on the 10th, 11th & 24th of October
- Guildford
Grammar on the 17th of October
