Season 2007-08
is shaping up as an exciting year for Women’s
cricket in Western Australia. The Western Fury
will be leading the way competing in the Women’s
National Cricket League while girls of all
ages around WA will be out playing with their
friends for their schools and clubs, training
and having fun in parks, ovals and even diving
around at the beach playing Australia’s
premier sport!
Cricket is a game that everybody can play,
with programs and carnivals designed to cater
for the beginner, the social and the serious

During the representative season
the WNCL comes to Perth for four matches; The
Fury girls will host Victoria at the WACA over
the 24th and 25th November, while Aquinas will
be the venue when the Fury takes on reigning
champions New South Wales on the 4th and 5th
January.
