Western Australia's best female cricketers are
ready and raring to go in the 2009-10 Women's National
Cricket League and Twenty20TM competition
getting underway Friday the 30th October.
There
are two new challengers for the bragging rights
to best team in Australia with ACT and Tasmania
joining the competition for the first time.
The Western Fury have been training hard and are
keen to begin hunting down last year's WNCL champions,
the NSW Breakers.
In a big step forward for the promotion of domestic
female cricket, FOX SPORTS will broadcast the WNCL
Twenty20TM Final live, prior to the men's KFC Twenty20
Big Bash final as a double-header of cricket action
on Saturday 23 January.
The Western Fury play Vic Spirit first up and
the action will get underway with a Twenty20 at
James Oval 11am on Friday the 30th October, before
moving across to the WACA for Saturday and Sunday.
