SPECIAL EVENT SERVICES
Facilitated by Transperth, the WACA provides additional bus and train services for international and selected interstate matches held at the WACA Ground. Transperth and the WACA record patronage statistics to evaluate special event transport services.
Information regarding services to be offered during the 2011-12 cricket season will be listed here once available.
Commonwealth Bank Series, 8 & 10 February 2012
With the help of Transperth, the WACAwill provide the following additional free bus services for the Commonwealth Bank Series;
Bus 666
Services to the WACA commence at 9:30am operating until 12:30pm on a 10 minute frequency*.
Return services to the city commence at 6:30pm operating until 9:00pm on a 10 minute frequency*.
Wellington St Bus Station (stand A15) to WACA – WACA (CAT stop) to Wellington St Bus Station.
Bus 660
Return services (WACA to city) commence at 6:30pm operating until 9:00pm on a 10 minute frequency*.
Adelaide Terrace bus stop (west end) to Esplanade Station (Blue CAT stop).
*Please note frequency will be 15 minutes for all services on Wednesday 8 February 2012.
The Red and Yellow CAT services will operate on the regular weekend timetables; visit transperth.wa.gov.au for details.
DAILY SERVICES
Daily services are also available for those wishing to travel to the WACA Ground on non event days. Transperth offers two free transit services travelling from the city to the Ground.
Catch the Red CAT on Murray Street in the city and disembark at bus stop 6 (WACA) on Hale Street (corner of Nelson Crescent).
Departing Wellington Street in the CBD, the Yellow CAT is an alternative route, dropping passengers at the corner of Hale and Waterloo Streets (bus stop 7) with a short walk down the hill to the WACA.
