Tickets for Day 2 are nearing exhaustion, with Day 4 also selling fast.
Tickets went on sale to the general public at 9am today, marking another milestone in preparations for hosting the final Ashes Test Match at the WACA Ground, with the series to shift to Perth Stadium in future years.
The Third Test is scheduled to begin at the WACA Ground on Thursday 14 December 2017.
WACA CEO Ms Christina Matthews said: “We’re obviously very pleased to see such demand for this match, but at the same time, it does not come as a surprise.
“The rivalry between Australia and England and the battle for the Ashes is one of the fiercest in world sport, let alone cricket. It inspires us, it engages us and it ignites our passion for the game.
“The strong sales through the priority period, followed by today’s news of a sell-out, show just how much the Ashes mean to people and, coupled with the opportunity to experience the last instalment of this series at the WACA Ground, it only serves to build our expectations for this historic match.”
Please Note: The WACA and Cricket Australia urge customers to only purchase from the official ticket agency (Ticketmaster in WA) to ensure they obtain a valid ticket for the official ticket price.
