WA posted 4-283 after being sent in by Victoria, with Shaun Marsh (88 off 112 balls) leading the way again for his second Player of the Match performance, following an unbeaten century in his side’s first game of the tournament.

Cameron Bancroft (59 off 61), captain Mitch Marsh (47 not out off 52) and Jonathan Wells (34 not out off 25) also made important contributions for the Warriors to build to a positive total, while Bushrangers fast bowler Peter Siddle did his best to restrict the hosts, with 2-48 from his 10 overs.

The Bushrangers struggled to gain momentum in their innings, with Marcus Harris (47) and Seb Gotch (61) top scoring as the Warriors interrupted each partnership before it caused match-changing damage.

Western Australia seized control to bowl out Victoria for 245 and secure the 38-run win in 46.5 overs.
