Tickets for the historic Third Test of the 2017-18 Ashes Series at the WACA Ground go on-sale to the general public from 9am tomorrow.
The on-sale date marks another milestone in preparations for hosting the final Ashes Test Match at the WACA Ground, with the series to shift to Perth Stadium in future years.
The Third Test is scheduled to begin at the WACA Ground on Thursday 14 December 2017.
WACA CEO Ms Christina Matthews said: “We have seen strong demand in the priority period, which was opened to ACF Members and today permits Perth Scorchers Members early-access, and we expect Days 1, 2 and 3 to sell out quickly.
“To avoid disappointment, we’re encouraging fans to head to cricket.com.au/tickets as early they can once tickets go on-sale to give themselves the best chance at getting the tickets they’re after.
“This will be a historic moment for WA cricket.
“The Ground’s first Test was an Ashes in December 1970 and had a young Greg Chappell score a century on debut, with Graham McKenzie and Rod Marsh flying the flag for Western Australia.
“Nearly half a century later, we will farewell the series from a Ground that holds a great deal of pride for all of us. And we will do it with a Third Test – another opportunity for Australia to claim the Ashes on WA soil.”
Please Note: The WACA and Cricket Australia urge customers to only purchase from the official ticket agency (Ticketmaster in WA) to ensure they obtain a valid ticket for the official ticket price.
