Special Event Services
Facilitated by Transperth, the WACA provides additional bus and train services for international and selected interstate matches held at the WACA Ground. Transperth and the WACA record patronage statistics to evaluate special event transport services.

Information regarding services to be offered during the 2013-14 cricket season will be listed here once available.

Commonwealth Bank Series - Dates TBC
The Red and Yellow CAT services will operate on the regular weekend timetables; visit transperth.wa.gov.au for details.

With the help of Transperth, the WACA will provide the following additional free bus services for the Commonwealth Bank Series:

WACA - Wellington Street Bus Station Shuttle: Bus number 666
Services to the WACA commence at 9:30am operating until 12:30pm on a 10 minute frequency.

Return services to the city commence at 6:30pm operating until 9:00pm on a 10 minute frequency.
Wellington St Bus Station (stand A15) to WACA – WACA (CAT stop) to Wellington St Bus Station.
 
From Adelaide Terrace bus stop (West End) Bus number 660
Return services (WACA to city) commence at 6:30pm operating until 9:00pm on a 15 minute frequency.
Adelaide Terrace bus stop (west end) to Esplanade Station (Blue CAT stop). 

Daily Services

Daily services are also available for those wishing to travel to the WACA Ground on non event days.

Buses

Transperth offers two free transit services travelling from the city to the Ground.


Catch the Red CAT on Murray Street in the city and disembark at bus stop 6 (WACA) on Hale Street (corner of Nelson Crescent).
 
Departing Wellington Street in the CBD, the Yellow CAT is an alternative route, dropping passengers at the corner of Hale and Waterloo Streets (bus stop 7) with a short walk down the hill to the WACA.

Trains

Timetabled train services will operate on all lines.  In the event of train service disruptions due to track work, Transperth will provide train replacement bus services.

 

Taxis

There is a designated pick up and drop off area located outside Gate 3 on Nelson Crescent. Patrons wishing to catch a taxi must proceed to the designated pick up area outside Gate 3 on Nelson Crescent.

 

Parking

The City of Perth operates a number of permanent parking facilities near the WACA Ground. For information on which facilities are open on WACA event days, as well as pricing and other information, please contact City of Perth on 1300 889 613 or visit www.cityofperthparking.com.au.
