MILO in2CRICKET Test Training Session a Success
11 December 2012
Budding cricketers from the Subiaco Marist MILO in2CRICKET centre recently won the opportunity of attending a special training session with members of the Australian Test team.

The session was held on Wednesday 28 November, two days prior to the start of the third Vodafone Test match between Australia and South Africa at the WACA Ground.

One hundred participants and their parents had the opportunity to rub shoulders with former Australian Captain Ricky Ponting the day before he announced his retirement from international cricket, as well as pacemen Mitchell Johnson and Josh Hazlewood.

The once in a lifetime opportunity came the way of Subiaco Marist MILO in2CRICKET centre after they submitted a video on why they were 'in2CRICKET'. The WACA judged their video to be the winner.

Another 15 MILO in2CRICKET participants were winners of a competition run by the Aussie Cricket Crew through MyCricket.

Due to the inclement weather conditions, activities on the outfield of the WACA Ground were cancelled but the kids instead took part in a fun session in the Boundary Room before the Aussie Test trio came in for a Q & A session and autograph opportunity followed by lunch.
