Graeme Wood
Chief Executive Officer
One of Western Australia’s greatest batsmen, the left hander played 59 Tests and 83 One-day internationals for Australia and captained WA to a hat trick of Sheffield Shield titles in the late 1980’s.

Post his playing career he forged an outstanding career as a senior executive in marketing and sales with Australian brewer Foster’s, working there for 17 years before taking up his current position at the WACA in March 2007.

During his time at Foster’s he maintained a strong connection and involvement with the WACA, serving as Chairman of Selectors in two separate stints as well as being Vice-President of the Association prior to his appointment as Chief Executive Officer.
 
   
     
     

David Clear
Game Development Manager
One of the longest serving staff members at the WACA is responsible for the growth of the game at all levels of cricket in Western Australia other than the Warriors and high performance. Oversees a team of five Community Cricket Officers in the metropolitan area as well as six Regional Cricket Officers in country areas of Western Australia.

 
   
     
     

Richard Marshall
Chief Financial Officer
Richard started his CFO role with the WACA in May 2007. Born and raised in Yorkshire, England, Richard emigrated to Australia with an international accounting firm in 1988, shortly after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. Since then he has worked as Financial Controller for several public listed companies and as commercial and legal manager for a large engineering company. Richard has supported the Australian cricket team since 1991.

 
   
     
     

Tom Moody
Warriors Manager & Head Coach
Born: 2 October 1965
After guiding Sri Lanka to the World Cup final, Moody took over from Wayne Clark as Retravision Warriors Head Coach and Manager in May 2007. Prior to his successful two-year stint with Sri Lanka, Moody spent four years as Director of Cricket at Worcestershire. Moody represented Australia in 8 Tests and 76 one-day internationals, including World Cup wins in 1987 and 1999. He played in five Sheffield Shield-winning teams and four domestic one-day championships in 145 first-class and 73 interstate one-day matches for Western Australia from 1985 to 2001.

 
   
     
     

Andrew Scotford
Cricket Operations Manager
Joins the WACA team in this newly created role from January 2010 with over 10 years experience in sports management including Cricket Australia’s Umpiring Manager and CEO of the Australian Volleyball Federation. This role will drive the strategic direction for elite cricket (male and female) within the state, including player pathways, district cricket, umpiring and coach education. Managing 10 direct reports Andrew will be responsible for “Leading WA Cricket Back To The Top”.

 
   
     
     

JOHN SOUTAR
Business Operations Manager
Joined the WACA in October 2008 after 24 years with Mustard Catering, where he served as Beverage & Logistics Operations Manager. His wide-ranging role with Mustard included tasks such as staff and beverage management, liquor licensing, function logistics and major event management. This experience over almost a quarter of a century holds John in good stead for his current role, managing the WACA Ground and the numerous events held at the venue.

 
   
     
     

Cameron Sutherland
Curator
Joined the Association just prior to the commencement of the 2005-06 season, taking charge of preparing the turf at Western Australia’s international summer sport venue. Well known within the Western Australian cricket community for his knowledge of local conditions, he joined the WACA from his position as founder and principal of Plant and Soil Management, a sports turf company.

 
   
     
     

Nicole Walker
Commercial and Membership Manager
Nicole joined the WACA in January 2004 in the position of Sponsorship Manager, working with the WACA’s various commercial and media partners. Over the past four years she has worked hard to grow the sponsorship business of the WACA, making cricket and the Retravision Warriors a valuable investment opportunity for Western Australian sponsors.

Nicole has worked on numerous initiatives including: the development of the Cricket City Perth Festival of Cricket concept; securing a long term partner in Retravision as a major sponsor of the State Men’s team; hosting the first ever interstate Twenty20 match played in Australia (2005, WA V Vic), as well as having worked as a part-time lecturer and tutor in the Marketing School at Curtin University, specialising in Sports Marketing and Integrated Marketing Communications.

Taking on the Membership portfolio in an expanded Senior Management position, Nicole is now looking to bring the same level of personal service, attention and opportunity to WACA Members that the sponsor group have enjoyed.
