Getting There

Thousands of people visit the WACA Ground each year and there are a variety of ways to reach the famous stadium.


The City of Perth operates a number of parking facilities near the WACA Ground. For information on which facilities are open on event days, as well as pricing and other information, contact the City of Perth on 1300 889 613 or visit

Disabled Parking

ACROD parking is available in most City of Perth parking facilities, subject to capacity. See the City of Perth PDF Parking Guide 2015-2016 [PDF].


Patrons visiting the WACA are also encouraged to take advantage of Transperth's free Central Area Transit (CAT) network which delivers passengers to the WACA Ground from various stops around the city. For more information on services visit or call 136 213.

In addition to the CAT service, the WACA also provides free shuttle services during selected match days – visit the Public Transport page for more information.

Mobile App

Car Pooling 

City of Perth Parking offers discounted rates for car pooling at Queens Gardens. Refer to for more info on the conditions.


Drivers of buses travelling to the WACA Ground should contact the City of Perth for information on bus parking. The WACA does not control any parking facilities for buses. 

Special Event Services

Facilitated by Transperth, the WACA provides additional bus and train services for international and selected interstate matches held at the WACA Ground. Transperth and the WACA record patronage statistics to evaluate special event transport services.

Daily Services

Daily services are also available for those wishing to travel to the WACA Ground on non-event days.


Transperth offers two free transit services travelling from the city to the Ground. 

Catch the Red CAT on Murray Street in the city and disembark at bus stop 6 (WACA) on Hale Street (corner of Nelson Crescent).

Departing Wellington Street in the CBD, the Yellow CAT is an alternative route, dropping passengers at the corner of Hale and Waterloo Streets (bus stop 7) with a short walk down the hill to the WACA.

Timetabled train services will operate on all lines.  In the event of train service disruptions due to track work, Transperth will provide train replacement bus services.


There is a designated pick up and drop off area located on Nelson Crescent. Patrons wishing to catch a taxi must proceed to the designated pick up area on Nelson Crescent.


If you are travelling to the WACA Ground by bicycle, please note we are unable to offer a secure lock-up area inside the ground. There are bicycles racks located opposite gate 3 in Queens Gardens car park which is operated by the City of Perth.
