More than 120 guests celebrated the most outstanding players of the 2018-19 Female Premier Cricket season at the WACA Ground on Friday 29 March.

An easy standout, Banting showed her skills with the bat in the 50 Over A Grade Competition amassing a total of 453 runs at 113.25 and 204 at 102 in the T20 competition.

Banting had an outstanding season with the bat and gloves helping her team to a comfortable grand final victory over Midland-Guildford.

This year's award night saw the introduction of the inaugural Jenny Owens medal, honouring the best performer in B Grade.

Subiaco-Floreat's Emily Johnston and Melville player Jessica Row were equal winners of the award which was presented by Jenny Owens herself.

*The Karen Read Medal voting system sees each standing umpire award a 3-2-1 vote to the players they adjudicated as best on ground in each match during the home-and-away season.

Emily Johnston and Jessica Row each with their Jenny Owens Medal.
