Veteran batsman Shaun Marsh, all-rounder Marcus Stoinis, and quicks Nathan Coulter-Nile, Jason Behrendorff and Jhye Richardson have been named in the 15-man squad.

The men will attend a training camp in Brisbane in May which will include matches between Australia XI and New Zealand XI.

Australia opens its World Cup title defence against Afghanistan on June 1.

Richo has been named subject to fitness after he dislocated his shoulder during the ODI series in the United Arab Emirates, but the CA medical team are happy with his recovery and barring any setbacks, believe he will be available for selection.

Ashton Turner was overlooked but has been included in the Australia A squad for the tour of England this June.

Mitch Marsh who has been named vice-captain joins Turner along with Ashton Agar and D'Arcy Short.

Australia A will open its tour of England with a one-day match against Northamptonshire at The County Ground, Northamptonshire.
