It comes through the newly formed Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund (ACIF) which is now taking applications.

In line with Cricket Australia’s five-year strategic goal to be the leading participation sport in Australia, the ACIF will provide more than $4.68 million annually (up until 2020-21) to fund improved community cricket infrastructure, with a focus on growing participation and promoting accessibility and inclusivity in Australian cricket.

The Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund provides an opportunity for clubs, associations and local councils in need of upgrading or building new cricket pitches, field and net lighting and female friendly change rooms.

Applications are currently open and close on 30 November 2018.

Grants of up to $50,000 will be awarded to successful applicants as the ACIF seeks to enhance the quantity and quality of cricket infrastructure across all levels of community cricket.

To apply, please complete the application form on the WACA website here. For ACIF enquiries or assistance in developing projects and completing the application form, please contact Stuart Dart, State Infrastructure Manager at stuart.dart@cricket.com.au or 9265 7347 at the WACA.
