In his record-setting 20th domestic season for WA, Marsh’s stunning form has reached new heights and he’s shown no signs of slowing down.

Marsh’s scintillating performance on the domestic stage this summer sees him lead WA’s run-scoring in the 2020-21 Marsh Sheffield Shield competition, amassing a staggering 485 runs at 97 from six innings.

These stunning figures place the left-hander in second spot on this season’s Sheffield Shield run-scoring tally behind Victoria’s Will Pucovski.

The golden moment of his glistening 2020-21 season so far has been his blistering high score of 135 runs against Victoria last November.

Marsh has proven himself as one of the most consistently productive batsmen domestically this summer, compiling three centuries (135, 115, 110*) and an 88-run knock with WA since October.

In his Sheffield Shield career spanning 20 years, Marsh has produced an incredible 7,698 runs, including 19 hundreds and 39 half centuries.

Shaun Marsh said;

“To be recognised by my peers is a great honour, I’m humbled to receive this award.

“To have the privilege of representing Western Australia for 20 years is very special to me, I love playing for WA and the ultimate goal is team success.

“We have a talented squad with a strong desire to win the Sheffield Shield for our State and I’m really enjoying being a part of it.”
