Motivated by the idea of helping his community and being part of his son’s cricket club, Sullivan put his hand up to become Junior Coordinator at the Ellenbrook Rangers Cricket Club.

After spending some time with the Midland Guildford cricket community, Sullivan decided he wanted to do more, so he joined the Midland Guildford Junior Cricket Association Committee in the role of Vice President.

Stepping into this position gave Sullivan a fresh perspective on the sport and community.

Sullivan said volunteering is a great way to get involved in the sport.

“Do it for the kids! I believe in making sure that every child is given an opportunity to play,” Sullivan said.

“A good volunteer is approachable, organised, welcoming and charismatic., it is great to be involved in a sporting club, there is a really sense of community.”
