The winner will get the opportunity to play in the National Premier T20 Championships being held in Adelaide in March.

The final is shaping up to be a must-see clash, with the expected return of several big names, including Mitch Marsh, Jhye Richardson, Ashton Turner, Jake Carder and Sam Whiteman for Fremantle as well as Ash Agar for University.

The impressive line-up will also make way for impressive imports Eddie Byrom (Fremantle) and Ryan Patel (University).

University claimed the win over Fremantle the last time the sides faced off in Round 3 of T20 Premier Cricket.

University’s head coach Will Stibbs said they have a full squad raring to go.

"Ashton Agar will join us for the match and he along with in-form batsmen Chris Sabburg, Matt Birrell, Viv Paver, Ryan Patel and Rex Strickland will make up a strong top six with the bat,” Stibbs said

“Bailey Richards, Corey Rocchiccioli, James Grady and Josh Dallimore will headline a bowling attack that has been outstanding so far this summer."

Joe Piromalli Fremantle’s coach said his team is in great shape in the lead up to the final.

“Hopefully we will have Ashton Turner, Mitch Marsh and Jhye Richardson available to back the good work already done by our players,” Piromalli said

“It will be a great experience to play under lights at the WACA and hopefully Eddie Byrom can continue his good form this Sunday.”
