The Club claimed the honours at the 2019 RAC Sport West Awards in front of a crowd of more than 500 at Optus Stadium on Thursday 13 February.

Quinns Rock JCC has established a number of award-winning entry-level programs for both boys and girls, and has developed specialised programs that allow teenagers and juniors with a disability to integrate with the club.

The Club’s partnership with Inclusion Solutions has enabled the successful delivery of these programs.

The club also has a strong partnership with Autism Association of WA to help promote its all abilities programs and be equipped with the necessary resources, as well as, non-for-profit organisation Team Connect to provide disadvantaged girls with an opportunity to play cricket.

Quinns Rocks Junior Cricket Club President Daniel Shortill said the club is proud of what they have achieved in their local community.

“We are very honoured to be recognised for our achievements,” he said.

“Our aim is to offer anyone in our community with the opportunity to play cricket.

“We have boys, girls and inclusion programs for all ages, and we look forward to the opportunity to assist other clubs in delivering similar programs in their community.”
