Despite losing Marcus Stoinis and Shaun Marsh to Australian duties, WA welcomes back skipper Mitchell Marsh.

Talented youngster Aaron Hardie could make his debut, after the 19 year-old scored a century for WA in the Toyota Futures League against ACT/New South Wales Country who featured Australian quicks Pat Cummins and Josh Hazelwood.

Head Coach Adam Voges said it’s important for his side to build on last week’s victory over Tasmania, as they prepare for their first away match of the season.

“We haven’t played at Allan Border Field a whole lot, but we did win our last Shield match there against the Bulls,” he said.

“Our guys should take a lot of confidence out of last weeks game against Tassie, not only the result but the way we played, our pressure with the ball and our partnerships with the bat was really important.

“I sure the guys will take a lot of confidence into the game, but we need to remember the Bulls are the reigning Shield champions so it’s going to be tough work.”
