WA have made three changes for their clash with the third placed Blues.

Ashton Agar and Marcus Stoinis return from international duties while young fast bowler Liam Guthrie has been added to the 13 player squad.

Josh Philippe, Usman Qadir and Jonathon Wells will play in the Toyota Futures League match against Queensland next week.

Warriors Head Coach Adam Voges said the incoming experience coupled with playing at Optus Stadium would provide a great spectacle.

“It’s great to welcome back Marcus and Ashton back into the Warriors Squad,” Voges said.

“Ashton hasn’t played a lot of cricket in the last month, I know he’ll be raring to go and get amongst the squad again.

“The team has been building nicely over the last few games, we had a great win in Adelaide last time out so the boys will take a lot of confidence out of that.

“I’m really happy for Liam Guthrie, he’s worked hard recently so this is a bit of reward for him and it also gives us a left arm option.

“Playing at Optus Stadium is a great opportunity for us, we’ve had a small taste of what it’s like to play there but being involved in the first our day game will be fantastic.”
