Sedgwick’s responsibilities have heightened due to the COVID-19 protocols that are currently in place for all cricket clubs across the State. This has meant he’s had to be extremely organised and monitor the use of all equipment for every team at the club.

WACA Cricket Manager for the South East Metro Region Corey O’Brien said;

“Ryan has gone above and beyond in his role, his attention to detail is exceptional and he is an extremely organised person.

“What sets Ryan apart is his willingness to always be at the club regardless of his 'role' and it’s not uncommon to see him at different matches on a weekend or popping into the clubs to assist where he can.

“Congratulations Ryan and thank you for everything you do to help get cricket matches up.”

Sedgwick said his main responsibility is to ensure all players feel comfortable and have the equipment they need.

“Coordinating the equipment for the club this year has been challenging with the COVID guidelines but we’ve managed to get every team sorted in time which was a fantastic outcome for not only the players but all involved behind the scenes,” he said.
