The victory capped off a perfect season for South Perth 1 Under 18's ladies who have remained undefeated since Round 1 of the competition.

South Perth won the toss and elected to bowl first in front of a large crowd of family and friends at Peet Park.

Wembley's openers Ayla Meintjes and Stephanie Harrington put on a dominant display with the bat, with neither dismissed before retiring at their 20-ball maximum.

Following Olivia Purnell’s run out, South Perth’s Zoe Britcliffe came out firing with the ball and dismissed Wembley’s Jacqueline Naidoo, Millie Monaghan and Ashlee King in quick succession.

With some of their finest batters sent walking, Wembley found a new approach to the game which saw Samantha Quadrio and Olivia Bunter both retire with 11 off 20 deliveries and 15 off 19 respectively.

Chasing a 96-run target, South Perth put their best foot forward, opening with Zoe Britcliffe and AnjaliMcGrath - some of the State's finest talent.

But Wembley came prepared, taking the wickets of Britcliffe (6) and McGrath (4).

U18’s National Championship player Molly Healy steadied the ship for South Perth, hitting a whopping 29 off 20 deliveries, to add to her overall season total of 1,212 runs.

South Perth achieved their target of 2-96 in an impressive 15 overs to cap off a perfect season.

Molly Healy said it was a thrilling grand final and the win is a great reward for the team's hard work.

"I always enjoy batting but there’s a few more nerves when it’s a final. (But) the girls all played so well on the day and it was good to finish off the season with the grand final win!" Healy said.

Congratulations to all awards winners.
