The hardcover coffee-table publication is a sequel to last year's popular title, The Doctor's In.

This instalment documents the 2017-18 summer of cricket at the iconic WACA Ground, from all five days of the Ground's final Ashes Test, through to the Perth Scorchers’ BBL|07 and WBBL|03 campaigns at #TheFurnace.

Phil Bonser, editor at Churchill Press, said that that The Doctor Declares bookends the history of significant events at the Ground.

“The WACA Ground is a venue that has meant so much to the world of cricket and the people of Western Australia,” he said.

“The final men’s Ashes Test to be played at the Ground saw a remarkable and fitting conclusion, with Australia reclaiming the urn in a dramatic final day’s play.

“The Doctor Declares enables us to relive the build-up and each day of this historic match, with superb photos and engaging commentary from Ken Casellas.

“The men's and women's Big Bash Leagues are such an important part of the modern cricketing landscape, and this book captures the exciting stories and images from the nine matches of an enthralling season at the WACA Ground.

“Readers will also find comprehensive record tables, from the leading wicket-takers, to the closest victories, and match statistics from all 44 men's Tests, 3 women's Tests, 36 BBL matches and 14 WBBL matches played at the WACA Ground.

“Magnificent photography and contemporary design makes The Doctor Declares a wonderful addition to any cricket-lover’s library.”

The book retails for $39.99 and can be purchased from the WACA Museum, Boffins Books (boffinsbooks.com.au), Dymocks and select specialist bookstores across the state.

The Doctor Declares will also be for sale during the upcoming Domain Second Test at two locations at Optus Stadium (inside gates B and D), with 10% of match-day sales donated to Telethon.
