WA secured a finals spot after defeating the Breakers by four-wickets yesterday in Sydney, with Nicole Bolton earning her fourth Player of the Match this season.

Fast bowler Piepa Cleary got WA off to a promising start by dismissing NSW opener Rachel Trenaman for a duck in the second over of the day.

She went on to claim another two scalps in her 10 overs to finish on figures of 3-52, but the Breakers put in a strong batting performance and finished on 6-223.

Chasing 224 for a spot in the final, WA were off to shaky start, losing the wickets of opener Ashley Day (3) and No.3 Heather Graham within the first five overs.

Leading by example, skipper Chloe Piparo (51) and Bolton (53) combined for a vital 110-run stand to lift WA to 3-128.

After the pair fell it was Megan Banting (57*) who stepped up with another WA half-century and guided the visitors home to a empathic win.

The final at North Sydney Oval on February 16 will be free to attend, as well as being streamed live and free on cricket.com.au and the CA Live app.
