Teague Wyllie and Luke Holt have been named in the 20-player squad to attend a camp at the Bupa National Cricket Centre in Brisbane in July.

Following the camp, the squad will be reduced to 13-players who will compete at the Under 17 Male National Championships next summer.

Wylie, a Rockingham-Mandurah product was the fourth leading run-scorer at the tournament, compiling 235 runs at an average of 58.75.

Willetton bowler, Holt was equal fourth highest wicket-taker at the championships, picking up 10 wickets at an average of 18.60.

WA narrowly missed out on qualifying for the semi-finals, losing their final qualifying game to Victoria Country, a game that was reduced to 20 overs a side due to the extreme heat conditions.

It was a successful tournament overall for the WA boys, winning four of their six games, including victories over Tasmania, Northern Territory, South Australia and New South Wales Green.
