Oliver has led the WA and Perth Scorchers high performance teams for the past seven years with great success.

The former first class cricketer from Victoria helped to deliver three KFC Big Bash League titles, two domestic One-Day Cup titles, the first WNCL final in 18 years and last season saw the biggest representation of any state in the Australian set-up.

During his time in the West, Oliver has developed the number one ranked high performance program across Australian cricket.

Oliver has also overseen the growth and development of talent, coach and umpire programs and established a strong player welfare and support system, as well as fostering a strong relationship with Premier Cricket, including dedicated staff to support the competition.

“I have devoted most of my adult life to cricket, in both playing and high-performance roles, and I am extremely proud and humbled to continue that association as Executive General Manager of National Teams," Oliver said.

“I look forward to working with Justin Langer and Matthew Mott and their national men’s and women’s teams, as well as national selectors and all those involved in team operations and logistics.

“I would sincerely like to thank Christina, the Board and everyone at the WACA for an incredible seven years in WA.

“I hope that I leave with the game in a healthy place and wish everyone involved in WA cricket the very best for the future.”

Acting WACA CEO Mr Shay Nasta said;

“Speaking on behalf of everyone at the WACA, we congratulate Ben on his appointment and thank him for all the great work he has done for WA Cricket.

“Ben has been an invaluable part of the Association over the last seven years, his leadership and guidance behind the scenes has been critical in helping build a strong and successful culture.
