The WA Women are coming off a difficult start to the season, playing their opening four fixtures on the road against teams entrenched in the top four on the ladder.

While the side are winless at the halfway point of the season, WA will enjoy four consecutive home matches in front of Members and fans at the WACA Ground to finish their campaign.

WA will take plenty of confidence heading into the weekend having won four of their past five WNCL matches in Perth.

The side have also won three of the last four matches against the SA Scorpions, including both clashes last season.

Ahead of the fixtures, WA Women’s head coach Becky Grundy said;

“We’re looking forward to these next few games at home and putting in a whole-team performance.

“It’s going to be really exciting to put on a performance here at the WACA Ground and see how we can finish off the season.

“We’ve trained really hard… we train and we play a lot at the WACA so we definitely take confidence from that.”
