Sheldyn Cooper has been recalled after sustaining a low-grade quad muscle injury during the game against South Australia.

The WA Women broke through for their first win of the season in sensational fashion when they demolished Victoria by six wickets at the WACA Ground yesterday.

Taneale Peschel was brilliant with the ball, she snared 4-37 as WA ripped through the opposition batting order, taking all 10 wickets for the first time this season.

Chasing 155 to secure their first win in WNCL 2021, a 97-run stand between Amy Edgar (49) and Mathilda Carmichael (47*) comfortably saw WA home with nearly 23 overs to spare.

The Women from the West will conclude their season with a consecutive fixture against the understrength Victoria, and can help force the final elsewhere with another strong performance.
