The night is about celebrating the opportunities that cricket has to offer girls and the continued growth of the Perth Scorchers Girls League.

A number of special guest attended the night including WACA CEO Christina Matthews, WACA Board Member Avril Fahey, Perth Scorchers player Piepa Cleary and a number of WACA and Community Junior Cricket Council representatives.

Awards were presented to the best batter, bowler, runner-up champion and champion player for the Under 15’s North and South competitions and Under 18’s.

The Perth Scorchers Girls League Under 15’s and 18’s grand finals took place on Saturday 30 March.

Whitfords JCC White were crowned the Under 15’s North premiers, defeating Swan Athletic/Caversham JCC in the big dance.

Bateman JCC were presented the Under 15’s South flag after defeating South Perth JCC in their grand final and South Perth were named the Under 18’s Grand Final winners, defeating Wembley Districts JCC in the big season decider.
