Aaron Hardie first picked up a bat and ball when he was just four years old, beginning his cricketing journey at Willeton Junior Cricket Club.
The talented all-rounder played district cricket as well as in the A-Grade side for the Dragons, before his talent was noticed by not only WACA officials, but Australian coaches as well. Hardie has represented Australia at under age level, highlighted by an impressive knock of 85 against Pakistan for the under 19’s side. The highlights didn’t stop there, the 19-year-old claimed the impressive scalp of England captain Joe Root during their tour match against a WA XI in 2017.
Hardie has been rewarded for his hard work with a Warriors rookie contract for the 2018-19 season.
