Mitch Marsh

Marsh is an exciting and big-hitting all-rounder who has represented Australia in all three formats, having made his Test debut against Pakistan in October 2014. His promise was clear early in his career, becoming the youngest ever debutant in the Australian domestic one-day competition in 2008-09 and leading Australia to 2010 ICC U-19 World Cup glory. Marsh hit a breakthrough Sheffield Shield century in the 2010-11 season before making his international debut in memorable style, smashing four sixes in a quickfire 36 in a T20 International against South Africa. Marsh took 17 wickets in the 2011-12 Shield season and began the 2012-13 campaign well before a serious hamstring injury. However, Marsh returned with a superb century in the JLT Cup against Tasmania before being called up to Australia's 2013 Champions Trophy squad. In 2017 Marsh was named as Captain of Western Australia, taking over from the retiring Adam Voges. He instantly made an impact, leading WA to clinch the JLT One Day Cup. He capped off an impression 2017/18 domestic season by winning the Lawrie Sawle medal.
