Insurance


The National Club Risk Protection Program is a nationally negotiated insurance and risk protection program that provides comprehensive coverage for Associations, Clubs, volunteers, coaches and players. It is designed to save clubs time, effort and money and provide enhanced cover and services for the cricket community.  The NCRPP insurance covers Public Liability, Personal Injury and Club Management Liability. JLT Australia was renamed Marsh Australia, but the parameters of the program remain unchanged.

The present policy expired on 30 June 2020 and is now open for renewal via MyCricket for season 2020/21.

For junior teams the process changed for the 2019/20 season whereby the individual player on registration pays an insurance fee of $5 per player.  Please contact your relevant Cricket Manager if you need any further information regarding this.

For senior cricket clubs and associations, your premium for the 2020/21 season is based on the number of teams you had in the 2019/20 season. This system provides for the renewal of policies in advance of the season and the policy validity dates of July 1 – June 30.

All clubs and associations are still required to register and complete the process to receive their Certificate of Currency regardless of the payment method.

Payment structures for clubs and associations have been set based on last season. If the association paid insurance premiums on behalf of their affiliated clubs last season, then the system is set up for the association to again make payment on behalf on their clubs. If a club made direct payment, then the club will again be asked to make direct payment.  If this has changed for your club or association since last season, please contact Danny Andrews at the WACA to make the necessary changes.

The 2020/21 premiums are as follows:

  • $110.00 per senior team
  • $100.00 per each Committee (for both junior and senior clubs)

To take advantage of this rate, premiums for the NCRPP are due by 31 October 2020 or prior to the first training session, if earlier. 

Any payments made after this date may be charged at the rate of $150.00 per senior team.

To ensure you are covered for the 2020/21 season, please follow the steps below:

  1. Access via your MyCricket login, http://mycricket.cricket.com.au
  2. Click through via “Administration” to “Organisation” to “Insurance -Register” and then to the JLT cricket web-site for the NCRPP insurance;
  3. Confirm number of teams stated is as per prior season;
  4. Confirm coverage of the committee (incorporated entities only);
  5. Pay the premium by credit card, EFT or cheque to JLT;
  6. Download the certificate of currency.
